The Emerging Realm of Children’s Fashion in India

For a long time many fashionable parents in India were left dissatisfied at the lack of stylish attire for their children. So designers Falguni and Shane Peacock made a big impact on the crowd at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week in New Delhi when a group of children dressed in tees and matching jackets walked down the catwalk alongside the adult models, it is still a rare occurrence to see children on Indian catwalks. “Most of us are doting parents and like to dress up our children. Unfortunately, children’s fashion does not have many players and hardly offers a choice. We thought it would be a good idea to explore the market a bit,” says Falguni.
